Citizens Advice Woking

Ladies Tennis Tournament at Worplesdon Tennis Club

Ladies Tennis Tournament and lunch Thursday 23rd June from 9.30am

Ladies Tennis Tournament and lunch Thursday 23rd June from 9.30am

My Story

A small group of staff and volunteers are organising a fun morning of tennis, followed by lunch to help raise money for Woking Citizens Advice.

Citizens Advice provides free, confidential advice to people on a wide range of issues including housing, debt, benefits, employment, family issues and immigration. It is a vital source of support for many people and demand for services is greater than ever because of the pandemic and the current cost of living crisis.

Although Citizens Advice is a national charity, each local office is responsible for its own funding, mainly through grant applications and fund-raising events such as this. All money raised goes directly to providing the service to support residents of Woking.

If you would like to play and haven’t already had your place confirmed, please email [email protected]. Following confirmation of your place we would be grateful if you could make a donation by clicking the 'Donate ' button below. The tennis will be a mix-in doubles format, so no need to enter with a partner.

We are suggesting a donation of £15, but of course feel free to give whatever you wish. Donations from non-players are welcome too!

With thanks to Worplesdon Tennis Club for allowing use of their courts and providing tennis balls.
